That's just one example. There could be two or three other types.

Ok, so say there is no correlation and no specific autistic type face...though i would say perhaps autisitc people have a kinda stare and look in their eyes? I would like opinions on these pics from people aware of autism and 'similar' type 'disability'.

Well, I guess it's not too tough to tell you are new. The first thing you might want to learn to accept is that generalizing about Autism means you need to learn a lot more about it.

There is no such thing as "typical" Autism. There are too many variations. And that applies to behaviors as much as in the way we look.

Hans Asperger himself tried to find similarities in the way Autistics look, and couldn't find any.

Edit: Maybe it would be best to rephrase the above. He was looking for some kind of classic physical traits he could use to identify Autistics on sight. That is what he never found. Neither has anyone else.

Most autistic People I know tend to have very large and defined Cheeckbones, as well as a heavy forehead. However I Cant say if this is a 'facetype'

In general, I was just looking to see if people with some knowledge on the subject thought this specific face looked somewhat like a fragile x type face or if it looked possible to have a syndrome?

However, due to lack of fragile x activity on internet I came across this site.

I would be interested in some opinions but off course cant post the pics for a few more days lol.

there is definatley a face type associated with fragile x...autism perhaps not then?

If this is what you were trying to link to:

HERE

I'm not sure what we're supposed to be seeing. The images are so blurry, I don't know what to think, or what I'm supposed to be looking for. :?

Sorry. They just aren't high enough quality to make the call. I'm not familiar enough with fragile x to see it anyway.

There really isn't a way I could tell Autism from a pic either, no matter the quality.

A video might be another story though, depending on whether the person is displaying and traits at the time. Autism might show up on one twenty second video, and not in another with the same person in both, if it's mild.

You know, if you just google "fragile x" and "autism" in google images, it says a lot. The fragile x search turns up a lot of photos with people who have fragile x, but the autism search turns up mostly images that are not of people, which pretty much supports what I've been saying anyway. Which is that there really is no "autistic face."

ok fair point.

I did not know either way if their was an autistic type face or not? Though a thread here (i found through google) was discussing the matter and some thought there was features.

I do know fragile x is associated with certain features but as I said there is little resources online.

And as I said sorry for bad pic quality but hopefully can see outline well enough?

Drop this topic - you're going nowhere. I believe you've stated your point, now move on.
