Friends: Acquaintances (qv) who feel close enough to you to touch you. Note that you don't necessarily agree with their self-assessment.

Solitary confinement: to them, a punishment; to you, a daily necessity to maintain sanity.

"The real world": a collective delusion, shared by the majority, which they insist you must believe in, or as they term it "deal with". Notable chiefly for having little, if anything, to do with objective reality. Ex.: "Nobody in the real world cares about <your interest>; you'll have to learn to deal with discussing football."

Idiotic Idiomise...... The language many NT's use that if full of non-literal, illogical figures of speech which is a constant source of confusion and irratation, but it does have one redeeming quality as being a source of parody/jokes! At least many metophors have some logic to them and can be visualized and understood when explained! When some one says a figure of speech or idiom to me in converstaion , I get an amusing set of images in my mind that often make me laugh and or confuse me at the same time! I often hear them in Science shows that I watch and wonder why some one smart would talk this way?? To some one like me it shows it shows a lack of intellegent and correct/proper speech!!
