That was the FIRST thing I thought of....and I have little experience with Cannabis sativa.
I'm just old enough to remember the term "lid" was slang for an ounce of weed.
I guess that term fell out of favor by the mid-80's. I don't recall anyone using it after that unless it was some aging Spicoli (Sean Penn's pothead surfer character from "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" just in case anyone thinks i'm making a racial slur here
) waxing nostalgic or something.
