I put 'average' but really it depends. The louder the situation, the softer my voice becomes, possibly in some unconscious hope of creating a trend. And I don't like to be noticed. But if somebody steps in front of me in a bank line, I yell a really loud "WHOA!" - it kind of embarrasses me, but it works - the malfactor gets back in line.

My voice tends to fluctuates all over the place. I'm frequently asked in a conversation either to speak louder because my voice is too quiet or to speak quieter because my voice is too loud.

Like most people have answered, I can't seem to control my volume consistently.

It's either too loud and abrupt or too soft and inaudible. All depends on my mood...I guess.

This is something I'm consciously working on these days.

I've had a recording done of me answering questions on a passionate subject and...whoa!...It was bad, I came across as very rude, abrupt, loud, hostile and mono toned. Strange thing is...that's not the way I intended to sound.

Must work on that.

I've always been too loud, unbeknowst to me. My friends have to constantly tell me to keep it down. A stranger on the train once yelled at me while I was having a conversation with a friend. My dad just told me he watched an old school video I did in elementary school and I was screaming at the audience the whole time

I've been told I change between being too loud and mumbling.

I think I sound average, but people say it's too soft. So then I talk LOUD and it's either okay or too loud.

people I know keep asking me if my voice is breaking, cos sometimes it will sound really childish, but at other times I sound like a guy! ( my voice goes really deep and my friends all get scared) Usually the quieter the situation is, the louder my voice goes, which is weird. I can't contrl it, so sometimes I get called an "attention seeker", which sucks.

I mumble a lot and think I sound loud enough for people to hear me, though I'm often wrong. I don't think I used to mumble as much as I do now; before I think I spoke too loudly and usually didn't realize.

For as long as I can remember I've been called a mumbler and generally only get louder on request as someone can't hear me. When I do, I'm often still not heard even though it sounds much louder to me!
I think over the years it has improved a little but I'm still often asked to repeat myself.

In normal conversation, my voice is just fine. But when I'm asked something, the first time I say it's usually too soft. I need to say something before I can adjust it, I can't predict the volume. I think it's because I don't talk too much in general, and I talk to myself a lot. When I talk to myself, it doesn't need to be loud because I hear myself clearly.

LAUT!

I can speak without a microphone
My voice is deep, so it sounds soft, like a velvet. I wouldn't be good punkrock singer.

I never notice it, but people always say I get louder when I talk.
