The people who happened to click this thread on this forum aren't an accurate representation of the entire autistic community. You need a broader test sample.
I think you missed what she was really looking for. She's not trying to get a sample of Aspie population. She's looking for a sample of Aspie population
on this forum. She seemed to think, with good reason I think because I've gotten the same impression, that there are more females here than males. This is the best way to determine that, though there are a couple of things that could throw of the results.
One: The samples are voluntary
Two: Very few people will answer
Three: (No offense to the OP, but this is more than likely true), the OP probably doesn't know how to create the curve and/or the error percentage from the results.
Still, it's the best available option.
Edit: woo woo! 96 results already! That's not a half bad sample at all!
Edit again: There is one other thing that can throw off the results here, and should be considered. If women are just more active on the forum than men, it will give an incorrect impression that more women are here.

As before when I first signed up here years ago, I'm finding that after a long hiatus, and after only a few days back on here, I'm spending way too much time here again already. So I'm requesting my account be locked, banned or whatever. It's just time. Until then, well, I dunno...
