I got a droid phone, and I regret getting it...But it's pretty cool!

1.Family
2. People that work in service (whom I initiate the dialog with, like plumber)
3. Calls from I'm guessing telemarketers that call and hang up.

My cell phone is in a drawer, not charged, and has been for months. I don't remember anything that's on it. What does that tell you about my "social life?" :?

I barely use my cell-phone but I need it sense I don't drive; it comes in handy. Most of the time I use it for talking; it's brief calls to my parents witch is only a couple times a week at most. I use it a lot for text messaging to cuz my main friend(my former supervisor) uses tex a lot; reason I went with the LG Voyager Titanium phone with Version cuz of the keypad. 1ce in a while we'll talk on the phone but that only happens a couple times a month maybe. We talk when we hang-out & do stuff thou witch is more often. The other main calls I get are wrong numbers & auto-dialers witch is twice a week at most. 1ce in a while I'll use it for business stuff but that ain't much. We have home phone service so I use that sometimes to make local or 1-800 calls. I had a few online friends who I used to text with but we lost touch. I also use my cell to check email & I check it obsessively when I'm somewhere & am bored like shopping or waiting for food at a restaurant ect(it annoys the hell out of my dad for some rezone). I also use Yahoo mobile on it but I usually just check it & don't message people unless they message me. I get 450 anytime minutes a month & unlimited mobile 2 mobile & unlimited night & weekend but I seldom use more than 50 total minutes a month; I wish I could get a plan with less. I get 25mb but I never went over that; I usually use less than half. Cost a little over $76 a month. I'll be elgiable for a phone upgrade towards the end of the year & I mite use more net if I go with something that has a better browser that's easier to see. I mostyly use it for net cuz I can & as I said it's an OCD thing when I'm board

hmmmm . . . since 1 july:
12 unknown/misdialed calls
4 boyfriend
3 to/from math tutor
2 friends, one conversation each, although played phone tag back and forth 5 times before got in touch with one of them.
brother - once

Oooooooookay. Is this another "only on an Aspie forum" thread? Categorize your calls? C'mon - you'd think it was weird anywhere else!

1: Incoming calls from parents 7-10/week
2: Incoming calls from friends 5-6/week
3: Outbound calls to parents 3-4/week
4: Outbound calls to friends 2-5/week
5: Customers (I mow lawns) 2-3/week
6: Incoming wrong numbers 1-2/week

I prefer electronic forms of communication such as facebook, steamchat and Email.

My cell phones calls are mostly from parents and other family members; and, as of lately, college recruitment centers. I rarely get any phone calls for any other reason. I do text some of my friends every now and then, but I'm usually the one who sends the first text message.

1.Mom who moved to the Las Vegas area, and other family members.
2. Friends
3. Wrong numbers, including a couple of text messages that were for the wrong number. I turned off that feature since I never used it anyway, and didn't want to get charged for wrong text messages.

I call my family members and friends, as well as work to find out my schedule every week. I also used it to call my dad after I got home from visiting my mom to have him pick me up from the airport. I live about 5 minutes away, so I was able to call him as soon as I was in the baggage claim area.

1. My parents, for when my bicycle has a flat tire or other defect.

That's about it. I use my cellphone only for problems and emergencies.

The only people who call me are my parents and my grandparents and to be honest, I'm okay with that as I hate talking to people on the phone.

I must not have a life (which I don't), because my cell phone never rings.

I rarely make phone calls, I mostly do e-mails, and I send a few hundred of those a week to a few friends, and occasionally a member of family.

I need a cellphone because I work "in the field". I use it to receive or accept information. I have 2 people who call to ask me to do things for them. That's the extent of "social" calls. I don't waste money on plans anymore and pay as I go.
