You seem to be expressing a caring disposition toward your future children.
There is a lot that you could do for your child to make sure that he or she did NOT grow up like you, CBT, simple understanding and even (Heaven forbid for an Aspie) some 'empathy'.
You can't go back and change your life and neither can I, but we can make a real difference to our children if they happen to have AS.
