That's true. I used to post there but am too sensitive and found it too upsetting but for some reason I still feel compelled to read it. I should get back to killing stuff in World of Warcraft instead. Take it out on the horde.

Better to take it out on the real horde by proving them wrong instead. Any energy spent on a game could be spent just as easily on something real.

True. My family haven't been fed since my daughter introduced me to it. :D

Isn't it against the rules to post links to other forums regarding issues?

Are you the forum police?

Some of our members get really confused when they see what look like rule violations being ignored. Most AS are kind of sticky about rules, remember, and very literal. A lot of our members need to have a sense that there is order and fairness in the world. So, it can be worth the time to take a look and decide if a rule applies, or why it doesn't apply, and splitting the hairs. She asked a question (which I'd try to answer except I've got a work deadline and I shouldn't be reading in the first place - sorry, tacky of me, I know).

I got a warning in March 2009 for the same sort of thing except it was about another topic. Punkykat once posted two links when she talked about getting stalked and her thread got locked because it was against the rules. I'm sure she got one too. But yet when she posted a link again to another forum regarding her being talked about, the mods found it okay and it's so confusing.

Okay when is it okay to bring issues to this forum and not have it be against the rules and when is it against the rules to do it? :?

I've just re-read the forum rules they say:

Quote:
Personal attacks against people or other sites are not permitted. If you have an issue with someone, talk to them about it somewhere other than our forum.

I missed that, but in fairness my post wasn't a personal attack against anyone, it was more an expression of disbelief at the attitude expressed about Asperger's and highlighting what people with Asperger's come up against.

I'm sorry League-Girl, I didn't mean to be horrible and snappy to you. Forums like that bring out the worst in me. I should have learnt to stay away by now.
