I apologize everybody.
I just wanted to bring some humor for an annoying situation that I was in. :P

I don't see how it was funny. It looked as though you were trying to stir up reactions on WP. Anyway, apology accepted. From me anyway, I don't speak for anyone else.

As a person who wears disposable underpants, that really offended me, because that guy that you ranted about, could have easily been me, though I'm on the AS end of the spectrum. Some people have very little control, back there and it's not their fault. I wonder if that guy is reading this thread, right now.

All in all, I forgive you, because I want everybody to feel welcome at WP, and that includes you, as well.

maybe you smelt your own breath try keeping your mouth shut? When the guy walked passed you his swift movement caused airflow that caused you to get a whiff of your own breath.

I would just edit your post if I were you plywood so that way anyone else who reads it won't get offended and reply to it not even bothering to read the whole second page.

Everyone CHILL.

Plywood, judging by your apology you didn't quite mean to come across as offensive. Nevertheless, you did. Myself and the most of people at WP aren't going to hold it against you so long as you understand that it was offensive, however.

I forgive you, but I would like for you to go back and delete the comment. Doing so will go a long way to show other members that you didn't mean to come across as a troll.

Plywood, the problem is your phraseology: "...smelly AUTISTIC guy..."

You were on a BUS for gosh sakes. How the heck could you possibly know he was Autistic? Then, come to a forum for AUTISTICS, and phrase it like that?

Would you go to a forum for the Jews and say, "...smelly Jewish guy?"

A forum for African Americans? "Smelly black guy?"

Think about it. I know you apologized, but the tone of the apology frankly was not very sincere. I really think you need to think more about what you said. If you really are sorry, as your apology suggests, REMOVE the remark.

If you don't it is very unlikely the apology will be taken seriously by most of the users here.

I see he edited it. But it's still not good so I would just delete the whole thing if I were him and say "nevermind" and "forget it."

I don't think he was even thinking when he posted it and I don't think he understands because he still left "smelly autistic."

Meh. Hygiene failure can happen to Aspies, too, y'know. I left home before I was ready, and there were times when I didn't change clothes or bathe for... a rather long time. Let's leave it at that.

But really, if your choice is, "I have enough brain power to get a meal today, or I have enough brain power to get a shower"... Well, which would you pick?

Cut him some slack, you can't delete the entire thread. Only mods and admins are allowed to move or delete threads.

And you have aspergers so that makes people with aspergers better, you can't obviously recognize your a complete fool

I really don't see why you guys are getting offended, nor did I imply I was aspergers which I might be be who care either way. This smelly autistic guy sat next to me, he was pretty far on the spectrum. Of course I said this like an a**hole but whatever. :)

I used to drive a cab, and some of my smelliest and even best-smelling passengers might have also been AS/HFA ... so I see no direct connection here ... and even I tend to go from one extreme to the other, at times.

speaking of extremes, days will go by [i lose track of time] and i will have forgotten to attend to even basic hygiene [other than diligent paperwork in the loo], but i will always shower and make myself smell as inoffensive as i possibly can, before i embark on my once-weekly trip into town for sundries. even then, there is something rotten about my body chemistry that emanates from my pores and from my chronically infected sinuses, that makes me continue to reek even if i bathed in chlorophyl. :(

Do you guys not have common sense? Stop replying to the troll. You're wasting your time, and entertaining him.

Someone please lock this thread, and maybe add a report feature?

don't be such a censorious scold. at least this one aspie [moi] has "hygiene issues." the OP brought about an interesting discussion.
