I like summer because....

Well, when I was in school I liked Summer for obvious reasons.

But now I like Winter.

I absoutely HATE being cold. So I always feel better when it's summer. Also, there is more daylight in summer and that helps with my depressions. And in summer there is a lot more animals around in our garden. Many birds in our region tend to migrate to spend the winter somewhere warmer.

About the only thing I like about winter is that you can see those animals that are still around so much easier. There is no foliage blocking the view and many birds will even come quite close to our house to pick up the feed we put out for them.

Summer because I could have a break from school and bullies. I could also do more in the summer and wear clothes that agreed with my sensory sensetivities. Intense heat makes me physicaly sick but in this day and age we have air conditioning.

Back when we lived in Ohio and I wasn't in public school anymore, winter was my favorite holiday manily because I loved to go outside late at night. Everything was so quiet and no one was around it felt like i was on another planet.

It's too hot in Summer. I sneeze too much in Spring. I get covered by itchy falling leaves in Autumn.

But in winter I can wear long coats and cute scarves. The skies are so very dark and beautiful. Not to mention lots of Aurora activity.

I dislike Summer because it's too bright, too hot, there are too many people, & it stays light for too long. I love Autumn. Summer is, & always has been, my least favorite season. When I was a child, I loved the fact that I didn't have school in the Summer, but that was it.

I've said in another post - I did write it in, but when I submitted, it only came up with autumn, spring and summer, and when I went back to change it, it wouldn't let me. I think it was because someone voted before I got to edit it or something. Now I can't change it now, and I really wish I could because as much as I hated winter I would never leave it out of a vote. Winter has it's rights in being a season, just like Aspies have our rights to being a human
