I don't do it with books, but I tend to read shorter things (articles, forms, etc) out of their intended order. Not necessarily going straight from the bottom up--just sort of here and there. I especially do it with long strings or lists of numbers. I don't find it to be particularly problematic.

I can read backwards, upside-down, mirrored, sideways, doesn't matter. I think its because I read the whole word by sight-recognition instead of starting at the left, reading the letters in order, etc.

Sometimes when I'm reading and thinking of something else, I will go several pages and have no idea what I have just read. Its like someone is talking and I'm just not listening.

I used to be only right-handed, but I've tought myself to do alot of things with my left hand.

--Yep--I do that too!! ! And I also had to teach myself to do certain things w/ certain hands when it doesn't feel natural to me.

I read as a word, not as letters. O.o

I am left-handed/ambidexterous. Taught to read using a mirror.
Most always read (open) books, magazines and applications back to front.
I have to watch myself, if PUSH is written on the opposite side of the door and backwards to me- I will push, not realizing that I have read it backwards.
I can read in any direction and used to be able to write in any direction. Haven't tried that in a while.
I can write with either hand. I learn to do new things with whichever hand feels more comfortable with that task. I shoot pool right handed except when in a corner, then switch. I bat right handed. String pearls right handed. Bowl equally badly with both hands.
When spaced out or bored I read in a zig zag direction. Left to right, right to left and left to right. It might take several pages to realize that I've been doing this. My reading comprehension score is very low because most of the time I have to read, digest, read, digest.
