I state the obvious because I do not always know what is and is not obvious to other people. Before, I would just talk and talk and confuse people. They would take me for a know-it-all or assume I was trying to prove I knew more than they did. As a result, they would become angry and defensive. When I state the obvious, they can also take it as me thinking they are stupid. However, it is much easier to smile and say "oh, sorry, it wasn't obvious to me." and allow them to feel better about themselves. When I do this, things go more smoothly. Therefore, I state the obvious very frequently.

I do repeat myself. I do this because I simply like saying certain things even after I have said them tens of times before. I guess it's like watching the same film over and over- if it's a good piece it never gets too old to watch again, and sometimes, it's even better after you have seen it a few times before. . . . yes, I'm probably extremely annoying to a lot of people.

I actually wish I could have that habit, a bit. Lol I tend to want to say something meaningful every time I speak, which leaves me stuttering and awkward when I'm expected to talk but have nothing good to say. It also makes me exhaust myself with thinking all the time. It would be easier if people were just psychic.

I still feel lost if I ask someone, "Hi! How are you?" and they say "Hi, how are YOU?" and walk away. So, they didn't answer my question, then asked me one and didn't let me answer it. It's hilarious how much people say words but they don't have the meaning in the words they say. It leaves me confused all the time, it's pretty funny.
