Dancing in front of the mirror can be fun ... but has to be done in complete seclusion.

Never mind what they think. What do YOU think?

Unless you are extremely ugly there is no reason to hate looking at your image in a mirror.

Not true. There can be more to not liking to look at your own reflection than simply thinking that you're unattractive. One of the most frightening experiences of my life, for example, was seeing my own reflection while experiencing depersonalization. Even when not experiencing depersonalization or derealization, I do not like to look at my own eyes in a mirror, and it has nothing to do with thinking them ugly.

I only look to comb my hair. That's it.

I hate looking at myself in the mirror and having my picture taken. I feel like I'm looking at a stranger.

Cameras are the bane of my existence -- I always look stupid and out of place in pictures.

i also hate looking in the mirror unless its in a good light or im like 6 plus feet away from the mirror. I guess my teen years of acne and seeing all the imperfections up close just depressed me and angered me and probably scarred me for life  luckily i keep my hair almost buzz cut length and i shave in the shower so its not an "issue" with others yet.

I hate catching sight of myself in a mirror when I am out in public. Perhaps it is because then I am seeing myself in relation to other people and I just look weird, really awkward. out of place and freakish in relation to others. It is like I am seeing myself as the outside world sees me. But I don't mind looking at myself in the mirror when I am alone, in the privacy of my bedroom or bathroom. I see my reflection quite differently then and don't have a problem with that.
I too absolutely hate seeing myself in photos, and especially if it is a photo of me in a group with other people.

I hope you realize that this is a purely subjective judgement. The "stupid" and "out of place" is in your head.
