Wine tastes like vinegar, and beer tastes like gone-off vegetables and looks like piss

I don't even like the smell of alcohol... and I hate the taste (I like a good sauce with red or white wine, though). I'm not very prone to social expectation either, and neither do I like the thought of having limited control over my body and mind.

Which means that for me there is no reason for drinking alcohol whatsoever...

Alcohol kills you and alcoholic drinks taste horrible, so I don't drink.

I just tell people I have an allergic reaction to alcohol.

I like beers and liquor. I'd like wine more, but I'm too sensitive to the sulfites. I just don't drink often and I have no need to get drunk. I actually do like the taste, but only when I'm in the mood to drink. If I am not in the mood, it just tastes horrible and I won't be able to even swallow it.

I really like single malt whisky, but I'll only drink a dram or two, with water, at a time. Whiskies have a fascinating taste and smell--very complex, multifaceted, multilayered. That's what I like about it. But if I drink too much it'll make my stomach sour and I hate that.

I'll have a couple mixed drinks (Jack and coke) a couple times a year when I'm at a restaurant for a social event. I'm not a fan of beer, and I usually need something to calm me down at said events. Luckily(?) I only attend events like this a couple times a year.

Wine gives me headaches and it's about the only type of alcohol I like.

I didn't drink until I went to the University. Spent my high school years when people were getting drunk left right and centre absolutely sober, refusing even a drop - which caused a lot of ridicule from my peers, actually. But I didn't like the taste to begin with.

In my fresher year I finally yielded under peer pressure and since I was the youngest in the year (two or three years younger than anyone else) I had to do something to fit in - or at least I thought so at the time. So I had a fair share of drinking for several years which finally left me rather cold to social drinking - meaning, I don't drink much at social gatherings just to keep company to people. The direct result is that I am invariably the single sober person at occasions at which people usually get pissed - like office parties, home festivities, etc. But sometimes, when I feel like it, I go out and have a beer or glass of wine some place. Happens rarely and it's always one drink because I don't feel like drinking more but I enjoy it.

So basically, have I had my way when I was younger, I wouldn't even start drinking. As of now, I drink rarely and I still don't like the taste much. I haven't had a drop of hard liquor in about 15 years already.

I'm a social drinker who has few friends, and doesn't socialize much. I also have two friends who teetotal, and I don't normally drink when I'm with them. Thus, I wind up not drinking too often. The last time I consumed alcohol was over two months ago. When I do drink, I usually don't have more than two drinks.
On the rare occasion when I find myself in a medium to large social gathering, I find that alcohol renders me more tolerant to the social demands/ sensory stimuli such gatherings entail. Thus, I might drink a bit more than that in those situations. However, like I said, I rarely find myself in those situations. I've been slightly drunk on several occasions in my life, but I've never gotten more than slightly drunk.
The taste of most wines and beers don't appeal to me. I do enjoy a few alcoholic beverages such as Mike's Hard Lemonade, Smirnoff Ice, Smirnoff Green Apple, Sangria, and some mix drinks. These are all beverages that don't have a strong "alcohol taste." I'm not particularly fond of alcohol that actually tastes like alcohol.

I got into the habit of drinking with my roommate. I enjoy wine, he managed a wine bar, and now it is a major crutch for my anxiety.

I drink quietly. It cures chronic insomnia but lessens the quality of my sleep, and it gives me terrible panic the next day even when I only drink a little.

I can't stand the taste nor the smell. I have had wine coolers. I don't drink and never will.

Yes. Drinking is a dirty habit and you're going to get some kind of liver disease. 8O *Pulls bottle of cider away from view*

I drink - in moderation. However, if I space my drinks apart and drink plenty of water to keep hydrated, I've had nights where I basically drank all night and woke up with no hangover.

That's the plan.
Well once I downed 1/2 a bottle of Sambuca. One of my friends kept passing the bottle to me. Anyway it all came back up and the next day I had no hangover.

Drinking is a social activity for some, and seeing as I'm rarely social outside of family gatherings, I rarely drink to heavily intoxicated point.

I don't know what a hangover is. I'm always feeling fine the next day after a night of drinking. Maybe a little headache due to dehydration but that's it.
