http://www.theamericandissident.org/Cri ... Villon.htm

in which the refrain translates to various forms of, "Should I have kept my mouth shut?"

(Villon spent much of his life in & out of prison.)

I always thought that the one most wonderful Asperger trait was the honesty! I love that about my son.

I think its a good idea for Aspies to have a couple of books like Dale Carnegie's on the old reference shelf.

I read his book (How to Win Friends and Influence People?) many years ago, I hated it. It felt like instructions on creative coercion.

Sometimes I think Aspies are good at reading people, they just are confused by the conflict between outward displays of fake feelings and the actual inner states of the person faking it. If Aspies are so good at details, then it would be fair to say we actually see the micro expressions in a face that reveal the real state of a persons mind and when this is at odds with what the macro expressions are saying we can't resolve the two. So NT's are actually WORSE at reading expressions because they miss the most subtle clues.

I know. Unscientific crapola. But it sounds good.

You might have a point?
I did one of those emotional IQ tests and got a score of 128 where the average is 100
Makes me think thats an Aspie trait I certainly havnt got, yet Iam useless at reading or giving body language.
