I was put into a "leadership" position.

After several months, it finally drove me to see a psychologist and I got diagnosed with Asperger's.

Some Aspies might make good leaders, but not me.

When I was in the army they made me a squad leader and put me in charge of 9 people. They did not like me because I was younger than them, white, and did what the drill sargeants told me to do. They were all black and over 21 who resented being told what to do by a white kid just out of high school. They got the most article 15's out of all the squads with two of the guys taking an article 15 for not wanting to take an order from me to put trash cans with trash bags against the walls. (An article 15 is $150.00 out of your pay) The drill sargeants kept apalogizing to me they said they put me in charge of those guys because I did not fool around so they thought if a serious person was put in charge of them they would listen. Three of them got kicked out of the army with dishonorable discharges two for stealing and for pushing someone down a flight of stairs for walking to slow.

At the resteraunt I worked at I was asked to become a manager but I turned it down because I would have to get trained at another resteraunt for 6 months. I did the samething for everyday for 9 years and could not bare to have to go work somewhere that I did not know or have to get use to new people. I guess the devils I knew were better than the one I did not know. My boss said he wanted me to be a manager because I was never late, never took shortcuts, always took the blame for my mistakes, and no one there liked me so I would not show favortism by helping buddies out.
