an artificial chemical quasi-floral scent can mask a lot of foul scents, so if one managed to banish masking scents from earth, mother nature would fill the gap with more foul scents.

Foul or not, I'd rather the world made scents and we quit trying to.

Never saw the point of using cologne or perfume when I already use soap, shampoo, and antiperspirant.

I used to travel by train to work but had to start driving because the perfumed scented cosmitics people wore made my cough, sneeze and almost choke. Whenever someone got in the carriage wearing some scented product I could smell it right away and would cough and choke. It made me feel so out of it that I couldn't think straight. I never noticed anyone else in the train cough but me, so it does seem this may be an AS sensitivety.
