Difficulty going to the psychologist to be examined..

Todesking, those requirements you wrote, I have read them.Time and time again. I've taken tests, I've read articles, books, AS autobiographies.. I've done my research. Everything points back to going to be examined. It's just taking the step! And the tests they gave you in August, I've heard of those. They make me feel nervous..

Just talking to strangers on the phone makes me nervous but I made mydelf do it. The tests are easy with no pressure they kept asking me if I wanted to take a break. They will go at your own pace. When you make the call make sure to tell them about your problems with anxiety. I am pretty sure if they have tested people with anxiety about the testing before if they have tested for Aspergers. If you have to have a friend or family member make the appointment for you do it. My friend Steve drove me over to the evaluation when I started getting cold feet and was trying to talk myself out of it but he ignored me and kept driving. He knew how important the tests were for me because he is high functiong autistic himself and knows the importance of knowing why you are different. He kept saying to me you are going to thank me for not turning around. (I did thank him

Yea, I just don't have someone that will push me or do things for me like that. My boyfriend's too afraid of confrontation and trouble, so he mostly stays out of my AS business, or business with going to the psychologist (I want him to go see one too.. I've been doing too much research
