This test
http://brain.web-us.com/brain/braindominance.htm says I'm left brained, and I took it right after the one that said I was right brained (it was something like 25% right brained, 22% left brained). That other tests says I'm left brained and auditory:
Auditory: 52%
Visual: 47%
Left: 65%
Right: 35%
That test is messed up. I took it and it said 18 of 18 left brain answers. I knew this did not sound right, so when I checked the answer sheet it was more like 13.5 for right and 4.5 for left, this is probably plus or minus two as there were two other questions I could go either way on. The first question I really have no preference for and even then it probably depends on if I am in a classroom or a theater and then what class or theater.

Why don't these add upto 100%?
I think it means off center from the middle like a protractor. If you are 25 degrees right, you are 1/4 more right than left. So 36% would be like 32 degrees off center toward the right, while 17% could be 15 degrees off, which means you mind leans in polygonal pattern across the middle line instead of a straight line. It could also or more simply mean that you use you whole brain 47% of the time, your right 36% of the time, and your Left 17% of the time. I believe it is simply a factor of dominance. I doubt if any would ever be 100%, as that would you litterly would only use half the brain. In humans perhaps, the preference is which side of the brain works better. Which could mean that the left side is average and the right is above average and therefore you use it better, but you still must use both at least some of the time as some of the most basic tasks require elements from both sides.
