When I was a kid the Thanksgiving turkey leftovers would last several days, up to a week if I remember correctly. When they were gone we had a family tradition of going to Howard Johnson's, a family restaurant, for our favorite "something else". I always ordered turkey.
When I was in my 20s I would go long periods of eating a large bag of cheese popcorn for dinner. But that was in large part to the fact that work exhausted me so I just grabbed the first thing I liked and filled up on that.
Now I could happily live on bagels with cream cheese, avocado, tomato and onion; eggs in almost any form; potatoes; and dark chocolate peanut butter cups. With an iced coffee drink a couple times a week. But <insert sad emoticon> I'm trying my best to cook and to eat healthy. It's pretty much working. But
still a fair amount of the above.
