I cringe when people get made fun of or when someone tells me a story about it.

I can sometimes feel people's physical pain, which is interesting, other people's physical pain seems to hit me harder than my own. I don't feel it if I feel that they exaggerating the injury. But for emotional pain, I feel it even if I feel they are exaggerating.

You know, this reminds me... supposedly we are the ones who have inappropriate reactions to things. But I can't tell you how many times something like what you described has happened... and people laugh! Whereas I'm there cringing and feeling their pain. I seriously injured my foot several years ago and was laughed at. I was in serious pain, it wasn't funny! It's like they care more about how someone looks than about how they feel physically.
