I would think that coaching would be useful as long as u had a set goal in mind that u wanted to achieve. As an example i should have been in grad school years ago. But i get syuck on the applications then everything craps out and i feel like i let myself down. Having someone to plan my stratagy with and then keep me focused on bringing it about (ie keep kicking me in the ass)
Mind u i dont see this as having to be a proffesional.

I got my autism coach for free. Everytime I acted weird or a little different I got my ass kicked by bullies at school. I learned how to mimic normal behavior to avoid being beaten up or spit on. I will never be normal but I can at least fake normality enough to avoid an ass beating or atleast unwanted attention. When I was young you could spot my weirdness from across the room my posture was weird or my rocking gave me away. Now you have to get to know me a little while before you notice my quirks and other weird behavior. 8)

Because I am trying to get in the autism coaching business, I am trying to connect with different types of coaches on LinkedIn. As I was trying to make these connections, I now realize that the ADHD coaching industry has sure boomed!
