every night before i retire, i say to myself "sweet dreams." it usually works, in that i haven't had a flop-sweating, panting nightmare in a long time. but try as i might, i just can't seem to will my dreams any other way, other than to prolong the good ones. i guess lucid dreaming is only for the spiritually advanced, of which i am not.
