Yup, me too. And I have to think about where I am putting my foot on stairs. If I become distracted I have a tendency to overjudge or underestimate and then I trip.

Stairs, curbs...sometimes stepping across thresholds or from lighter to darker or darker to lighter colored floor (or carpet).

Man, I'm way clumsier than I thought.

I usually have something in my lap, too! It probably is proprioceptive dysfunction, because I also like wearing tight clothing. Every day I wear a fitted shirt, some kind of skirt, and support stockings -- just because I like the pressure.

The only time I don't have something in my lap when I'm sitting is when I'm at my desk, and that's because if I'm not typing, I sit on my other hand and somehow that gives me the same effect. But yeah, I don't know what to do with my hands if I'm sitting and there's nothing there... and I'm not self-conscious, but it's this feeling like my lap feels empty! I get cold very easily, too, so something in my lap helps me to stay warm. If I'm sitting and can't put something in my lap I'll always end up leaning forward and resting my elbows on my thighs, or crossing my arms and leaning forward to rest my arms completely in my lap. I end up looking like a creeper, though. :<

I also like to wear tight pants :) Or else wrap myself in a blanket.

The rest sounds like what I do what with my hands as well!

I love to hold objects while I'm sitting or lying down. I never knew this was a sensory issue though.
Holding objects calms me and makes me feel safe. That's probably why I enjoy holding and hugging my rabbit.
