I think the public in general has embraced Temple Grandin like a prophet. She's given hopeless parents hope. She's completely blown some medical professionals opinions out of the water. People are rethinking their views of autism because of her so I can understand why it may seem like worship. Autism needed a positive public face and Temple offered hers and the response has been amazing.

But Temple is the first one to stand up and say she's only one of many - her issues are not all people's issues. She can only speak from her own experience with true authority.

I like her and I like what she does. But everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
