Some, yeah, in one's sleep I can see. But I didn't get cat scratches or divots taken out of my finger in my sleep.

And yeah, I am sure NTs get it too. I just got annoyed because my finger started to sting (is stinging right now). Not excessively painful, just distracting.

Is the divet on the side of the finger near the finger nail or at the finger nail's bottom? I get those bad when my skin is really dry.

Maybe your cats are working you over while you sleep.

Yes, it's on the side near the nail. Could be dryness, although I don't usually have that as a problem. Thanks for the tip.

My cats could be. They're punks sometimes. :D

Whats worse when I get the divets near my nails the dried hard bits that stick out some times get caught on sweaters and blankets causing bleeding. When I worked in the machine shop some of the parts I deburred had holes that needed deburring when I finished them I had to stick my finger in the hole to see if I got all the burr but I would end up peeling back skin cause of the divet. My co-workers would accuse me of chopping up bodies in my back room due to all the blood on the part.

Oh, that does sound painful.

I don't usually have this particular problem. I wonder if it came of clipping a hangnail.
