When did you learn to ride a bike?

I never rode with training wheels. After I learned to ride a bike, I playfully went on some tricycles, but that was just to be silly. Never needed them for actual learning.

I can't remember when exactly I was taught to ride with training wheels. At some point the teaching stopped. I never learned how to ride a two-wheeled bike. I never got up the courage of asking anybody to teach my when I was a kid or a teen. I suppose I could (maybe?) figure it out myself now if I really needed to.

I learned when most kids did. I am very good with a bike.

i din't learn just got on one and was able to ride it! i always loved my bike ever since with it my biggest obbsession for years!

strange as i could ride bike before i could run properly!

I first learnt when I was about 8.

When I was 5 I tried it many times, but was unable to get the hang of it. When I was 6, I was going to a hippie run Free School in Maine, when one of the teachers said that somebody left a bike at the school that was about my size.

I tried it, and got the hang of it on my own, though I did have a few spills during the first day with it. I really didn't worry about the falls that I had, though, as I was having too much fun riding it.
