I thrive on the Rain. I like the sound and appearence of it. It calms me to look at the Rain and listen to it.

I love thunderstorms too. Unfortunately, we don't get them often enough here in SoCal. :(

The most dissapointing thing to me is when the rain stops. I wish it could rain forever.

I love the sound of rain, and the lovely, fresh smell of it. I find any kind of watery sounds very relaxing. My next door neighbors have a water feature in their garden which I can hear at night when it's quiet, and it's very sleep-inducing.

Storms just rule. End of.

... actually, not quite end of. They have to be proper stroms with proper rain and proper thunder and lightning. Not the pathetic feeble kind we've had a couple of times recently; they just annoy me.

I like to sit in a car during a rainstorm, with the engine off, and listen to the rain hit the car. It's a unique sound that you can only get in a car, and you can hear it all around you as it taps on the windows and the sheetmetal. The sounds of cars driving splashing down a wet road is also nice too, and much more pleasing than the regular noise of traffic on dry roads

I like the sound of rain, the louder the better (on a tent or a car). And I also like the way it looks. But I don't like to walk in it.

A lot of people here have said they don't like to walk in it. I LOVE walking through rain. In-fact, it was raining last night so I went and sat outside, with no coat, for about 45 minutes.

Well this is a great thread. Rain can take me from the worst mood and into a great mood almost instantly. Nothing else has this effect on me. Rain makes me feel relaxed, happy, and generally well. I love the sound, and smell also.

I really enjoy driving around in the rain, or just walking in the rain. The only thing I dont like is the rain on my glasses, the spots bother me.

It doesnt rain nearly enough here, unfortunately.
