I'm Irish so you can see how completely I empatise with that, I don't tan, I freckle.

Weekends were times for me to recover from the ordeal I had just been through, a respite where I could spend a nice day with a single family member or snooze in the middle of the day (which I've been doing lately), I generally didn't go outside unless the weather was very cloudy and damp, I enjoy the rain and dark weather and I enjoy solitary walks with my ipod to the local newsagent.

I was a dancer. I spent my whole weekend in the dance studio, dancing. Everything else was put "on hold"- including homework- until Monday, when the stress began again. :(

Recording in Audacity with a twenty dollar walmart microphone.

You do what you can with what you have.

Reading Stephen King novels and books about animals, watching cartoons, talking to my cats, listening to music, riding my bike and getting sunburn, playing Harrier Attack and Chuckie Egg. Generally nothing that involved other human beings.

Playing Civilisation II and listening to Manic Street Preachers or The Smiths.

I used to go into the city centre sometimes and talk to tramps and be chatted up by old men. Or I'd take crap black and white photos of dilapidated buildings and read stuff in the central library.

EDIT: and swimming a lot in a very gross municipal pool (or disgusting public baths, if you want British English).

I am only partly Irish, partly Northern European, partly other UK nationalities... I have the red hair and the pale skin, but I don't freckle.

Played various computer games (Mainly Civilization III, Roller Coaster Tycoon, and many a sleepless nights with Delta Force: Land Warrior online multiplayer.), console games (<3 RPGs) and watched television (<3 anime) and surfed online, mostly; There were also a few occasional books that had captured my attention, such as World Religions, Calculus or Roman History. I also occasionally completed my homework on the night before it was due, lol.

Doing homework/studying, usually. I studied pretty much non-stop for school starting Grade 10.

I can relate to that. I don't burn actually, but I get sun hives.

Anyway I basically spent all my weekends at home playing video games, going online, or studying.

. But most off my weekends were spent with my boyfriend, or his best friend, or my "good" male friend, or my girlfriend. And it depended on who was busy to who i spent time with.

Usually there was some type of british comedy on in the background. At nights i would stay up playing spider solitaire. 8)

Reading, listening to music, watching TV, doing homework, occasionally going out to watch a movie. Pure excitement. :|

I read a lot of science fiction and I spent my days at the library. I programmed my calculator. (That was the era when home computers were rare.) I read about computers and hoped to get access to a real computer some day. I taught myself calculus. I taught myself some programming languages (harder, because I didn't have access to a computer). I taught myself some basic electronics.

I was probably doing some combination of the following:

Working on the computer
Watching TV (anime, cartoons mostly)
Drawing
Listening to music
Horse-back riding

I spent most of my weekends alone or with my parents.
