As long as it doesn't have them questioning my sanity. Although sometimes I would talk about that stuff too.

Yes, and I often regret it almost immediately. Most people don't really want to hear that the clicking noise of the turn signal is in time with the radio's current song.
:lmao: Ooh, spot-on!

Sometimes I forget all about it. If I don't, I might talk about it. If it's too negative, I will try to push it to the farthest reaches of my mind.

Not as much as I used to. It seems that when I relate something interesting, people either react with indifference, with sarcasm, or with a string of "I can top that" anecdotes of their own.

Except for the Inner Circle, that sort of thing has LONG since been on a need to know basis.

most of the interesting stuff that happens to me is queer so i keep it in the closet with me. the stuff that isnt i lie about or hide because i don't like people knowing what i'm doing. they are not interested, may mock me or i just feel that it would tarnish the experience if i were to tell them. secrets cannot be marred if they remain that way. happy moments need to be isolated in time so life cant ruin them for me.

I hate when people do this in a conversation. It's like saying, "I don't really care about what you just said, so listen to me talk about myself!" On the plus side, my awareness of this has made me a very good listener.
