I'm not quite sure if this will help, because I am not aware what my particular triggers are as it is usually a combination although it mostly contains heat in a way. But what I do know is that if I get an overload, the best way to 'cool down' from it is going to the woods. I live next to a great are, as my house practically has the woods in the back yard, and by going there I remove the stimuli that caused the overload and go to a familliar quiet place where I can listen to the birds and observe the ants. It's my ideal place and it calmes me down every time.

When do you get a sensory overload? What type of input are you most sensitive to.

PEOPLE!! !! INCrease number of people in room increases overload!! !

What do you do to make it stop or ease it down?

NOthing!! Just have to try to be and think calm, perhaps make effort to make movement or speech soon because longer you sit still and dont say anythign more you start to freak out

How long does it take you to get out of a sensory overload?

Not until left room to quiet area or people have gone

When do you get a sensory overload? When toddlers start screaming

What type of input are you most sensitive to? Sound

What do you do to make it stop or ease it down? Turn away from the toddler, try not to look at it, try to focus on something else

How long does it take you to get out of a sensory overload? Depends how long the brat is causing me pain for. I can't tolerate it at all - I have to get out of the way
