Chat 'Night'- Every Saturday

It's saturday again :)

I think a fixed time to start the chat night isn't needed anymore because last week it started earlier and it gets really busy when everyone joins at the same time.

For people who can't join on saturday, on sunday about the same time there is chat too.

Hmmm, I had problems with the chatroom today. My keyboard was on and working, but I couldn't type anything into the chat area. I've used the chat room successfully in the past, so I was typing into the correct area.

Any ideas?

Try closing your browser and reloading it? I sometimes have that problem with Java applets.

Or, alternatively, get an IRC client like MIRC or Xchat, connect to irc.freenode.net, and join #wrongplanet. :)

Sorry to disappear from chat today, I seemed to freeze, couldn't get any text in the text box, and when I rejoined, it wasn't working either, lotsa flashing boxes and no type. I'm not very experienced with chat so I'm not sure what happened.

Nice talking with u all anyway, I'll pop in again another time.

OK, it's a little late, but this may help some others with the same problem.

I figured out that if I opened another Java applet, I won't be able to type in the chatroom. I doubt that this is true of all Java applets, but if you're having problems, this may be the cause.

I would but Saturday night is when all the good cartoons are on and something bad will happen if I miss them.

Help needed please - I tried to get in the chat room but it wouldn't seem to do anything, is it me or what? never been in a chat room so I don't really know, apologies to people who said hi, I was trying.

Do you have the Java plugin? If not DL it.

It's Saturday again. :)

Although there is chat everyday now, the chatnight is a good opportunity to try it out for new members.

*chuckles* I just realised that I have been putting off going to chat night for several months for the sole reason that I live in Australia and for the life of me I can't figure out the time difference!
