I never thought of it. I just thought they did it because they picked that picture and it has them in it. I have used the ones with me and my baby in it because I was to show off my baby to anyone who wishes to do a search for me who knows me. Sometimes it's just my baby only.

I don't want people to find me though. I don't even use my real name on there, and my pic is a troll doll.


I took a picture of myself in a dark room with my laptop so the computer screen light would block out my eyes so I would have not have to look at my own eyes. Its a reason you don't see to many photos of me.I actually had someone send me a message saying they liked my creepy FB picture. :roll: Needless to say I did not friend him.

I don't see too many group shots, but duos or trios are common, especially amongst women, it seems. I figure that they identify egoically with that configuration of people. Like some people have a picture of their kid or kids.

I hardly ever use a picture of me because I don't really identify much with my physical self.

Maybe they don't have pics alone.

Mine at the moment is a gunny diagram on geeks and nerds; otherwise I have had manga, Japanese prints, Atheism signs etc. I have pics of myself in the albums but not as a main one.
But then I use FB for my interests or to vent with people from support groups and such, not for socializing with IRL ones.
