Do you ever punish yourself?

I think the perfectionist in me means, I always seem to let myself down... exhaust myself trying to hard and I tend to shut down more these days to find the energy to start again, but i have punishment myself, I do that better than most can, in regards to mind games, because I tend to over think and over process everything!

As a teenager, I used to cut myself as punishment. It hurt a lot, but it actually made me feel better, because I thought that I deserved it.

I haven't done it since I was around 19 or so. Still have some scars, though.

I haven't punished myself since I've started living on my own, 5 years ago. It was the best move that I've ever made. :)

When I was a kid...I'd punch myself and call myself stupid when I realized that I'd done something to make myself sound/look foolish. I can't even accurately describe how I would feel once I figured out that I'd made an ass of myself.
