Good posts! I agree that a simple "or" instead of a dash could have saved much confusion.

I worked at a plant nursery in Hawaii for two years and a constant sore spot at work was when my boss would tell me to do a job perfectly. I would end up spending too much time on a given project and he would come yell at me. The solution I came up with was to work in terms of tolerances. On a 1-10 scale, 1 would be no effort at all and 10 would be the highest craftsmanship possible. His "perfect" was actually about a six and HE was the one yelling. Go figure.

Part of being so naturally analytical is that often, when faced with a problem, if I just rephrase the issue to make sure I have it correctly, the solution basically appears by itself in the set up of facing the issue. Other people greatly appreciate my presence when dealing with a crisis and I have to do significantly less guess work. Without these guides, it's exponentially more difficult to work in teams.
