I do hate the flash from the camera. So I look away to prevent my eyes from blinking or causing a sensory issue.

Yeah, I suspect it may be sensory related for me too.

Having my picture taken is something that bothered me a lot when I was younger, but not so much now. Maybe it's because of the cell phone era we're living in, where nearly everyone seems to have a camera at all times. (A form of exposure therapy?) But even now, I rarely look at the camera when someone takes my picture. It's unnerving. And yes, I hate flashes as well.

I don't mind looking into the camera, but the flash really bothers me. There are very few pictures of me where my eyes are actually open.
