Who has unusual sensory issues?
Fluorescent lights, when they're blinking.
The sound of people eating crunchy things.
I'm the opposite with fingernails, I hate it when they're cut too short.
I hate having long hair when it gets in my face, that's really irritating.
I have a whole closet full of shirts that I don't wear because they're itchy.
The sound of people talking while I'm trying to think is extremely distracting.

Earlier today, while I was in the bath, a soda can was sitting on my air vent making a quiet racket and triggering my misophonia something fierce. I wasn't even able to tell where the sound was coming from because I was in the bath on the other side of the wall, and the source wasn't obvious.
Also, one that really gets me are people whose voices sound "wet" when they're talking, like they're chewing on something really chewy and talking at the same time. That makes me want to commit violence.
Anyway, one of my weirder persistent sensory things isn't really all that uncommon: I have visual pixellation/snow. It's more obvious when I'm overloaded or of it's dark, although pretty visible over a light or white surface (like reading a book). I only found out in the past few months that there are many many people who don't see this.
Ditto on the visual noise. I had it since being about 2 years old, I always thought it was normal.

I have not seen anyone mention this one. Water. I cannot stand water, which is sad, because I cannot survive without it. I can drink it, but I cannot get it above my upper lip. If I do, I have to wipe it off quickly. I CAN have it on my feet, sometimes, but I just don't like it. The feeling of getting into a bath tub gives me shivers and I almost refuse to walk into a shower. I just can't stand getting wet. It doesn't matter the temperature either. I just don't like it. *shudder*
Obviously, I don't want to smell or have acne all over (and dirty hair is just nasty), so I do clean up and often force myself to clean up. (I am actually very clean - I just cope differently). I also have to wash my own dishes, so I do that too. Once i am wet I am ok enough to continue, but honestly. I HATE water. I have no idea why.

When it gets intense (like it is right now, oh today is such an autistic day for me, I could barely even talk to order my dinner because I couldn't even work out how to cook one...)... when it gets intense, white backgrounds become overwhelming and turbulent. I'm not sure how to describe it. It doesn't make it impossible to read or anything, but it makes reading slightly more complex. And gives me a headache.

I hate the taste of water, but I don't mind getting wet. In fact, I actually kinda like it.
