Don't know if I said something rude until they react?

In my experience, a lot of people think you're either rude, stupid or both. Most often it goes hand in hand, especially if you demonstrate a lack of "common sense"(i.e., social common sense) in other areas.

But, maybe I'm just simply stupid and my experience isn't typical of an aspie? Haha. I want to get my memory tested (My IQ isn't in the "stupid range" and my technical and objective accomplishments suggest I'm pretty sharp, so that can't be it) to rule out causes related to memory, but the proctor isn't getting back to me.

I don't know. Maybe you shouldn't have said that the woman was taking a long time, but what else could you say? I would do the same in your situation and, honestly, I wouldn't expect her to feel embarassed/angry. And yes, I'm frequently saying rude things without really meaning them. I guess it falls under the "underdeveloped empathy" we have.
