I remember being accused of showing off when all I did was minded my own business. I was ten then. Does that count?

They probably mistook my weirdness as showing off and AS can cause that. I never understood then how what I was doing was showing off. But now I think it may have been my awkwardness. They could tell I was different but they thought I was doing it on purpose so they assumed I was showing off. I didn't even think to ask then "how do I show off" or ask them why they think that. Meh I guess I could take that as a compliment, at least they didn't think I was ret*d so they thought I was normal.

I dunno what others think of me now. I am sure others get wrong ideas about me all the time but I don't really care.

Yes. I am quiet opinionated, so I can see how I would come off as seeming proud. It was more a problem for me when I was younger, but I've mellowed as I've got older and realised that everything isn't as black and white as I used to think it was.

I think what has helped me is the different people I've met over the years and how listening to them and trying to understand their perspective on life has changed how I view things.

Although, alot of the time I do think I'm right, but I just keep my mouth shut. I used to argue points to the death, but I don't bother now. I think that makes me easier to get along with in real life.
