I eventually lose my patience and my true self becomes apparent.

After 5 minutes: "oh really? That's nice."

After 30 minutes: "yeah... sure."

After 1 hour: "ok whatever."

After 2 hours: "you know what? I don't really care."

After 3 hours: "just shut up already!"

After 4 hours: *gets up and leaves*

I get overwhelmed when there are a lot of relatives come to my house and are milling about. Well, I think I get more agitated than overwhelmed. Once my mum's sisters and their daughters came to my house to get ready for a party they were all going to go (except me because I chose not to), and it was taking about 2 hours getting ready. Everyone was up and down, in and out, backwards and forwards. I couldn't sit away in my room because people shuffling past my room and murmuring of voices was too distracting for me, and I couldn't go outside because a storm was brewing up. I didn't fancy listening to music, because there was so many people milling about that I got too agitated and was just waiting for them to hurry up. When they finally went, and I had the house to myself, it was a relief!

I did begin to feel a tad lonely after a couple of hours though. I don't mind people here when they are in the living-room or in the garden having tea or whatever, but when people are just flitting about, it agitates me.
