our showerhead is on the ceiling and hangs directly over you, so it is always there. I sometimes will lean forward on the railing and let the water cascade down my back. I find it soothing.

Wait you mean showering and facing away from the water isn't the norm? I'll add that to list of things I do naturally 'the wrong way'. XD

I do face the water if I'm washing my face in the shower but otherwise there's no reason for me to face it. The soap and stuff is situated away from the water as is the place you step in, besides I mainly shower to wash my hair with is not usually in my face when I'm washing it.

I haveta put my back to the shower. I can only handle moisture to my face unless I'm actually washing my face.
