I always wear jeans and a Tshirt. I don't own any skirts or dresses because I would hate to wear them both because they are uncomfortable and because I don't want people to think of me as female, and I would feel degraded if I wore skirts/dresses. Also, I own one pair of black pants, but it's not as comfortable, so I only wear it on special occasions. I only wear shirts of a rougher texture (the kind that most people think is low quality); I can't stand the feeling of soft shirts. I don't like my underwear to be too soft and I don't like my shirts and jeans to fit; I like them to be too big for me because I don't like my clothes to touch me as much.

Oh, and one more thing...

I HATE BUTTONS! I honestly don't know what I would do if someone gave me a choice between wearing those horrid, disgusting THINGS and jumping off a cliff. I especially hate polo shirts, and it's gotten to the point where if I see someone wearing buttons I have to scratch the vision off my eye and wipe the imaginary things off myself. Also, if I am walking directly behind someone who is wearing buttons I can't breathe. If someone I care about is wearing buttons, it's hard for me to see them as the people I know; I just see them as bearers of vile objects of sensory destruction. I have to work hard to remember who they really are. I think this is because when I was little my parents forced me to wear them and I always had to hold them away from me because of the sensory issues. I think I was slightly traumatized by that.

I have a few things that drive me crazy. This is directed towards the women about pants/jeans. Why on earth would anyone think it's ok to stitch the crouch together so the fabric sticks straight up about one inch?!?! And no men, it DOESN'T feel good! Walking around all day with a pair of pants would cause me to lose my mind! I do have a solution to this problem if anyone is interested.

I also do not like "airy" shirts and lose-fitting waists on pants (my waist is a lot smaller then my hips) so I have to wear a cami under my shirt, tucked in to deal with both of those issues.

I also cannot stand poly socks. Cannot stand the way they make my feet sweat, how they slide around in my shoes. So I have to wear colored cotton socks. Not easy to find ones that look professional with business casual pants.

I am also very picky about shoes. Still in the process of finding the perfect ones. I have a closet full of shoes that I either tolerate or cannot stand.

I also just recently noticed that I do not like spandex combined with cotton. The combination fabric makes me feel cold. I have noticed that it's getting harder to find just cotton shirts now....they are all becoming that stretchy type.

Of course, the usual annoyances such as wire bras, tags on clothes, jewelry.

Wow..that is a lot of issues!! !! !

Sometimes I question my femininity because I hate "dressing up", whether that means skirts, dresses, and even dress pants. I'd rather wear jeans, t-shirts and tennis shoes. I'm very much straight but I feel more comfortable in looser clothes and most women clothing are a tad bit tighter. And its not because of sensory issues, I don't think, but more so because I'm quite statuesque with a good figure and I HATE, HATE, HATE attention towards myself. I hate people looking at me.

Right now I'm in a job training program and I'm fighting so hard with having to wear business casual clothing to the sessions, and it is not a good feeling at all. Sigh.

I'm not a dresser at all, I have one pair of shoes that my little daughter had to convince me to throw away, they were beginning to curl up at the toes. I'm so not into clothes and often wonder how people can be into fashion. Sometimes I'd rather just throw on something, looking like a homeless and be on my way.

Just one more reason why it's good that I don't work outside the home, as I can't stand wearing most clothes either. Clothes are about my most difficult struggle in life. For me it's gotta be soft and loose too, but it's also gotta hang in the right way and not be too tight in any area. I found a brand of loose, pretty, soft and surprisingly CHEAP organic cotton shirts called Food 4 Thought at Whole Foods last year, and bought as many as I could. I went from having like 1 or 2 shirts I could tolerate to probably 10 or 12. I LOVE them. Now if I could only find something I could tolerate in pants - I still make do with only 1 or 2 of those. From the time I was a kid, I could not and still can't STAND anything tight around my waist. So, you have my sympathies.

I don't like wearing ''hipsters'', because I'd always feel like they're falling down, and I don't like everyone seeing my arse when I bend down, I find it embarrassing for me. Maybe some girls like the whole world seeing their arse but I don't. I'm more of a private person.

I always wear mens tshirts who are 2 sizes too large as they won't cling to my skin. I really hate that, but other people do not seem to get that I cannot wear other types of shirts, especially those other girls wear.

The only thing I'll wear on my legs that's close-fitting are tights in the winter. Jeans are too tough and hard on my skin.
Sleeves must be loose or nonexistent. I only wear skirts, preferably knee-length. Slacks? No way.
To tell you the truth, I'd wear a wizard's robe year-round if I could obtain one easily and could get away with it in public!

Issues with clothing is understandable! So many people wear things that are not made for comfort. I don't know how they stand it.

I've never been able to stand wearing pants that are snug or fitted. I used to wear really extra large overalls and that was great because there was no issue at the waist.

I think that most people are too hung up on saying what other people must wear or must not wear. If underwear are the problem, I don't see why anyone would have to wear them if they don't want to.
