I absolutely adore winter! As soon as I'm able, I'm moving to Norway! TX is too hot.

I like the cool weather, but nevertheless it always takes some time to get used to the changes of seasons, put on new clothes, etc. Ugh, I hate transitions. But I love fall weather, and winter is better than summer,at least for the most part, IMO. I hate humidity.

Cold weather keeps the neighbours from sitting about in their back yard getting drunk and yelling till the small hours, so it gets my vote.

What's the winter weather like there in the U.K., T.D. ?

I live in zone 5 in the Midwest U.S.A. about 30 + miles south of the Great Lakes. We'll get a -15 on the thermometer as a low for 2 weeks out of the 52 weeks. Two or three deep snow falls, some very icey road conditions at times. Just a very grey sky with little letup for months.

Do you see 0* ?

I like it now here with fall weather, the color changes are just starting, it's cool without that oppressive summer heat.

We get below zero (centigrade) sometimes, but mostly it's just above....slushy, cold, and damp. Luckily our local gentry can't handle even mildly chilly weather.

I have seasonal affective, I don't like winter really. This winter, though, I'm hoping is a bit different. I now ice skate, so maybe the ability to ice skate outdoors would be cool if that could happen this year. Also, I wanna get cross country skis, that looks fun. Maybe if I just learn to use the outdoors of winter better, I might enjoy it more, but still, the seasonal affective really gets me in winter.

I like the cool weather because it causes me to perspire less. I can't wait for it to get nice and cool so I can do more outdoorsy stuff. I also like the cool weather because it causes insects to stop buzzing around and crawling.

Being hot makes me very sick,
I can't sweat, therethree I die.

I hate snyunsnyine and beer and
summer crap, it can all just go
away and leave me alone.

I need my dark clouds and rain
and snow and grey misty days.

I love winter too! =D It's becoming darker and colder around here, and I love it! I love cold! I love the cold winds and feeling them whip my naked arms (yes, I wear t-shirts during winter), and I love snow and its pure beauty and I love blizzards and their untamed fury and I love it, I love it, I love it! =D =D =D

lol! I don't think it's cold enough around here, to be honest. I'm thinking about moving to Svalbard a couple of years and see how I like that! =D

The don't mind the cold so much but having a foot of snow on the ground is a living hell. Also have to deal with all the holidays too, ugh.

I love winter....the feeling that it is okay to not work as hard, and that you should focus on keeping warm instead makes me happy. :)

Ideally, I would combine the seasons to make 'sprautummter'
sprautummter would have snow, baby animals, golden brown leaves and the sun would be high in the sky so you don't get that sun-blinded thing when your driving. no annoying flying bugs, and halloween 4 times a year.
