No
No
Yes
Some of them are sociopaths and lot of them have issues so they take it out on others by bullying them to make themselves feel better. Sometimes they do it to fit in to be accepted and not get bullied themselves. Sometimes they are bullied themselves so they do it to others to feel better about themselves. I think they should be charged with murder if their victims kill themselves due to the bullying. Maybe that will make kids bully less because they be too afraid of going to prison.

Good comment ! The thing about a typical bully is that they are very "brave" when they are backed up by their friends or when they pick on a person who can not fight back. But when they are on their own facing someone who poses a moderate threat to them then they tend to turn into chickens.

I think that bullies are a bunch of nasty criminals who do stupid pointless crimes which are very illogical. If you read about criminology and the book "Games People Play" you will discover that criminals come in different forms, you get at one extreme a "clean" criminal who might rob a bank in a calm and logical way trying his best to avoid being caught and at the other end of the scale you get the monster who wants to let of steam and play a giant version of "cops and robbers".

While I can not approve of crime, I understand that the straight forward criminal who does not play the cops and robbers game is a person (normally a man) in an illegal profession. I am unlikely to approve of his moral stance, but I have to admit that some of them are very clever. I read of one who robber a bank in the US. He ordered everyone to remove their clothing and strip naked. He then robbed the bank and ran off with his loot. I think it was a clever idea as the people in the bank became more self conscious and thus would have been less able to give a good description to the police of the man.

While the "cops and robbers" criminal is just an evil sicko who do things for their twisted gratification like the American bank robber who made a point of getting the people in his bank to strip naked before arranging them in sexual poses before having an impromptu porn shoot with a camera as a method of mocking them and getting his depraved pleasure.

I think that school bullies who hunt in packs are nascent cops and robbers criminals who need to be watched by society as I think that they are more likely than typical people to turn into industrial psychopaths, creeps who mug old people, perverts who rape schoolgirls and other people who make a negative contribution to society.

I think all bullies are cowards. They will pick on people in groups and they will pick on someone who is vulnerable and won't fend for themselves or can't fend for themselves. They will pick on someone who can fend for themselves but suck at it because they be the ones who get into trouble, not the bullies. Sometimes one bully can pick on a person but he or she does it when the victim is defenseless.

I have never seen a bully on TV or in movies or heard in real life or seen in real life that they have picked on someone who is bigger and stronger than them and can fend for themselves.

Okay, I believe you. I think my confusion came about due to the way in which you phrased the question. Don't worry, all is forgiven.

The teachers at my school admired the bullies and looked down at the "weak" kids that they attacked. I think their warped reasoning was that the bullying would toughen them up.

I hated the teachers more than the bullies.
I hate them to this day.

Yes. Teachers can often exacerbate the problem of bullying, encouraging the victim to fight back (in my case, anyway), which only adds fuel to an already volatile situation.

I hated teachers.

Good point, therefore we should respond to them.

Bullying is nasty. People that bully have no thought on how the other person is feeling (and NTs are said to be able to have empathy and sympathy over how somebody is feeling??????????)

I think bullying is wrong and nasty and pointless. It ruins the person's state of mind (well, if the person is shy and unconfident like me). I got bullied when I was 19 by my so-called ''friends'', and since then I've become overparanoid when in the presence of other girls of my age, thinking they're staring at me and laughing at me and noticing my impression that I give off, or reading the words ''I'M A MUG - LAUGH AT ME'' written across my forehead, what I can't seem to ever rub off (metaphorically speaking, by the way).

At my volunteer job there has been very slight bullying, not with me (for once), but somebody else who I think has an ASD. She ain't as good at hiding it as I am - she'll come out with offensive things, but not mean it. Well, I'm the only one who knows she doesn't mean it, but everybody else thinks she's horrible. I know she isn't. I can always sense the difference between a person being nasty and a person just struggling with social interaction and so accidentally says the wrong things that can look nasty. This doesn't just apply to Aspies. It can apply to anyone. Some people just have a nasty striek in them, other people just get misinterpreted a lot. There's a difference. And nobody likes this woman at my voluntary job because they think she's a back-stabber (even though that ain't true because the rest are always back-stabbing eachother there all the time and this woman never does. Well, not to me anyway, and I'm there a lot with her and I speak to her practically all the time). They're just making excuses not to like her, simply because she's a little ''weird''.

Bullying is putting me off of starting a paid job. What if I get so badly bullied that they try to make up some fibs about me to try to get me into trouble? I know anybody can have that, but don't forget the words what are written on my forehead - that encourages bullying more. It really makes me feel depressed and I hate myself for giving off that impression and not knowing how to not give it off.

They have cognitive empathy but lack affective one. Please check this
