It's just you.

Either you're ignoring aspies who aren't good looking, or you have some sort of bias that makes someone appear better looking because you know they have a diagnosis.

I don't think this is true (yet it might be) I think facial features can tell about the phyche of someone. The extrem exemple of this is the donw syndrome.

Also lots of aspies have big eyes and big click bones, big heads, and other facial features which are often associated with looking good.

This is my observation, but I never read any serious scientific studies about it.

Downs syndrome is not Aspergers though. Aspergers is completely neurological. I don't think you're onto anything here, to be honest, I've never seen more aspies with big heads or whatever. Unless of course, you don't mean literally. ;)

I know that Downs syndrome is not asperger but it could show fact that some social features are associated with some sort of "mental landscape" I mean we are here to exchange idea, so if you think that anything what you have never heard before is BS, then I wonder what you are doing here.

Furthermore I did notice that lots of aspis have big heads.

Most men generally have big heads anyway.

I have a small head (looks small for my body actually), and I don't have big eyes at all.

It seems, according to WP, every possible human behaviour or appearence is associated with Autism, as though Autism has a zillion traits and NT only has 1 which is socializing. That's not really how it works.

But I have heard it before. I've heard it all before, and it is BS. Aspies are not better looking than NTs unless you have an internal bias, or you've been fortunate enough to only meet extremely good looking people.

See the quote of the guy above, it sums up my thoughts perfectly.

Me, I think I'm butt-ugly, but people frequently remark on my good apearance. Which I find to be rather more than awkward.

Here is an idea that may relate to this: A friend of mine was doing a photoshoot for a somewhat naughty internet site. Her photographer, coaching her, told her to "think of something sad," so that her face would reflect that emotion. Because apparently, feeling sad gives you that doe-eyed innocence expression that NT males translate as "come hither." (which is 9 different kinds of messed up, in it's own right)

But consider that the Aspie "neutral" expression resembles despondency. So just being neutral, an aspie projects the alluring "come hither" look. Which would slant the hormonal observer into fudging that person's looks into the "very attractive" category.

OK, good you think that, so feel free develop your thoughts. (it could be interesting, we never know)

You are so right. Many people at WP seem to so badly want some visible marker that is directly linked to AS. I assume it is because AS is a largely invisible condition they feel they need some irrefutable proof to present to people. Either that or it's an insecurity and they really feel the need to belong. I think I've heard them all now:

Big heads
Eye colour
Something to do with ear lobes
It's in the cheek bones
Small eyes
Big eyes
One eye bigger than the other
Angel faces

I could go on. And on.

Wow, that's a really awesome theory - possibly the most interesting post I've read so far on WP. It makes a lot of sense to me.

It is obvious that there are lots of ginger among aspies, but it is still not even half of them, it is just a tendency. And aspies TEND to have facial feature assiciated with good lonking which doens't mean that ALL of them are good looking. What is bothering you with that?
