That's easy!

SEX!

I can understand how people would find sex exciting, but is there really much to think about? It's one of the most basic functions anything ever does.

Maybe how to get more sex? Oof. I've never been interested in 'reproducing' as people call it, so maybe that does explain it.

I was just joking, but now that I really think about it, it's probably true!

BTW: We're humans man. There's a lot more to human sex than mearly reproducing. That's one of the things that differentiates us from other animals. We do it for FUN!

I've never gone for diagnosis of anything in particular, but I do think I'm ADHD-ish if nothing else.. I rarely commit to a project from start to finish, and my short-term memory in general isn't great. If I take stimulants like caffeine or sugar or other more potent stuff I can focus noticeably better and these issues largely disappear.. but then, isn't that why everyone takes stimulants :)

If nothing else it seems like this sort of thing indicates a 'daydreamy' and/or more 'metaphoric' mode of thinking than most people apparently exhibit.

I understand conceptually how sexual release is fun in a purely physical/'instinctual' way, and how the courtship/hunting rituals are mentally stimulating, but when I try to imagine the actual act, with all the actual physicality of the whole thing, it truly disgusts me. I'm not sure I can think of anything more repellant.

As a kid, sitting in the back seat of the car, i used to imagine the car "jumping" above the gaps in the middle white line of the road. If the line was continuous or i was looking through the side window, the car would jump above an imaginary line my mind drew from a tree, perpendicular to the road. There were always little bumps in the road i used to define a starting point of the jump and then a landing. I realized I was still doing this last summer....

I sometimes imagine Tom and Jerry are leaping about over whatever I'm looking at. I have to really use my imagination for this. I usually do this when the bus is stuck in traffic lights or broken down, and I use a scene, any scene, out of the window to imagine Tom and Jerry. Even on a big empty field I can make up them doing something. :)

My mind is always working, too. It never stops. I remember most of my dreams, at least for a few minutes or I have remnants of the dreams.
my mind is in several pieces. One part I "can" use, but the other take to much effort and go their own say. Sometimes it plays games, but mostly is in deep thought, figuring out the mysteries of life.

If I really work hard to control my mind and can get it on a subject, it is very powerful. Sometimes I give my mind a question, like a path of evolution of an animal or how much oil is really in the world. A complex question may keep it busy and seemingly none existent for a few weeks. How it can compress 4 billion years in to a week or two amazes me...

I have counted a total of 8 thought trains. Occasionally all parts of my mind are playing a game at the time, each being a different game... That is fun, but I can't function in the real world...

When I was a kid through teenage years, my mind wanted to learn everything about people's minds. I wish I could find something new as interesting...
