I already responded but I thought of a new answer....I handle my adult responsibilities by going insane. lolz, hopefully most people here can handle things a little better and might be able to keep their sanity for longer.

i am 17 after i graduate high school im going to move in with my grandma for a year then im heading up to Michigan to be roommates with my buddy Jordan who is going to school in Detroit to be a chef and me and him will work and save for 5-10 years so we can buy our own land to live as self sufficiently as we can and farm for our food, sell at local farmers markets and have solar power to power our house because me and him dont want to be slaves to the system. in life we are trained from birth to go to school, get a job, retire with little to no money, then die. i do not want that as my life. i intend to use banks and credit cards as little as possible so i dont incur any debt which is akin to slavery and i am a free man, my life is mine and mine only after all its all a man really has is his livelihood so who are the government to say whats best for me? besides self sufficiency is the best way to live especially in regards to war or natural disasters if the government ever shuts down people cant get what they need anarchy breaks loose, not for me i will have everything i need, not everything i want if anything like that happens, but everything i need. im trying to get people who think like i do on the subject to join me because the more people we have the easier it will be which also means the quicker we can be self sufficient

When you became an adult, how did you manage the responsibilities of life? First of all, did you have a job to pay for necessities

I'm Nth on what sacrip wrote but it worths emphasizing that learning to fit in a job environment is a meticulous step by step process that everyone has to go through not only people on the spectrum.

If I would write about my so-called career the most frequently used word would be "lucky". In fact, I've already written one and a half page about it and submitted it to the psychs that are evaluating me.

I too like to sit in the school benches, especially after I graduated from the uni, so I participated in a postgradual Master of Business Administration course and later on a course dedicated for training Financial Auditors. Each took 3 years to finish. Now, without hitting the benches I feel somewhat empty and lost, meandering around without goals set.

My chosen profession (economist - financial controller) isn't connected to any of my special interests. Because of this, it was a bit hard for me to study at the uni and then get a job and actually be productive. On the other hand, I could be preoccupied with whatever my obsessions/special interests were at a time as far as I did my duty at the job.

Dealing with Integrated Management Systems and databases, programming in Visual Basic helped to gain skills that are welcomed by employers though, so there's some connection to my special interests nevertheless. I'd recommend a similar overlap between special interests and profession for anyone who's unsure.
