16 and irrelevant. A "reality" show that's scripted, everyone's mouths hang open (as Butthead puts it), and the parents exploit their idiots of children.

Mtv is at the center of it all. They make money off these dumb kids. You can't expect stupid parents (who had kids at 16 too) to have control over their own stupid ass kids. It's stupid to think that.

It only happens in awful families too. Smart people do not let this happen to themselves. Good parents have mild control over their children. Sure teenagers rebel, and some more than others...

"What's a condom Chaz? I was texting you in health class""I don't know baby, I think it's like an apartment you buy.""I, like, love you, Chaz!""I love you too, Britney." Silly kids don't know what love is.

i overheard two boys talking at a busstop last week about what a girl from school had text them. they must have been about 13 and i thought it was pretty gross. i'm not prudish but i find it worrying how all these kids are 'sexting' this way. from the convo i gathered she wasn't his girlfriend and wasn't even very good friends with him by the sounds of it. and i'm pretty sure no 13 year old girl would actually do the stuff she apparently said. makes me worry about what young girls are stooping to to get the attention of boys. and what boys expect as normal. this next generation's gonna be so messed up. the interent porn generation

And... sixteen and pregnant is in what season now? The generation of modern technology. Parents have zip control.
Don't forget about Teen Mom.

You would think in a world like today kids would be less naive...

It is REALLY annoying....however, when you talk bluntly and matter-of-fact-ly about sex they are all like, "Eww...STFU."

Mind that I didn't mean "Poor". It happens to rich families just as much. I just mean families lead by 1 or 2 parent(s) that don't know what the hell they are doing.

By stupid I mean thinking that you can actually be "in love" at that age enough to create another person. Overpopulation is a real problem. These people are the cause. The reason food stamps go to buy crack, the reason sick people go without pain killers when they are pain, the reason our streets are littered with trash. The reason the economy is in the shitter.

Mtv perpetuates this idea that it's okay, somehow. I can't believe this place sometimes. I know teenage pregnancy is nothing new, but families that think it's okay to televise it are. Tell me you've seen one intelligent sounding or looking person on that show. My guess is no one here watches it, but if they did they couldn't talk me into thinking any of these slack jawed neanderthals are smart if I had a gun to their head.

I put things bluntly, and sometimes over-exaggerate to make my points, I apologize. :?

I had problems finding friends as a teen because they all seemed to want to talk about boys and play around with make-up whilst I was more interested in visiting museums lol.

I lost a group of friends over that.

I am no longer a teenager but now I go to museums on my own. Actually I do most things on my own lol.

I remember back in my teenage days a lot of boys and girls talk about having sex with another person talking about private parts and i wasn't very comfortable about this topic so i just walked away from it as i was a lot more mature then there were.
