I picked:

Because you didn't have an option for non-vivid images/movies in color.

Typically everything in the image is blurry except whatever I'm focusing on. And the 'movies' are mostly sort of silhouette type things. But if color is relevant then there will be color - for example if I visualize my elderly cat that died last year, he is orange and white and the orange is definitely in color. And if I shift my attention to his eyes, I see the green and the little speckle pattern they had.

I'm not totally sure how to answer this. When recalling certain events, I generally can replay a movie in my head and go thru every little detail that I noticed at the time. I'll remember stupid little details of events that are completely insignificant for the rest of my life... things that I have no idea why I remember them. I'm usually the one who, when out drinking with friends and whatnot, will remember how things went down, where people put their keys, etc. However, while reading, it doesn't work at all. In fact, that's a big part of why I dislike reading. Say I have a description of a character... he's tall, with dark skin, black hair, and brown eyes. Okay, but that only tells me a few details. Where's the rest? Is he fat? skinny? muscular? some combination of the two? Is his hair long, or short? medium length? what is he wearing? I can't picture it at all, and I'm really bad at describing people too, so it works both ways. Sometimes I can picture things, but it's very rare while reading, and it's part of why one of my favorite books is Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six. I played the games before I ever read the book, so I already knew what a lot of the locations and characters were supposed to look like, which made it much easier for me to visualize what the hell was going on in the book.

I discovered this ability at a young age my earliest memory of visualization involved the Galaxy Class Starship Enterprise most likely in 1988 years later I was surprised to discover that many people can't do that or need help with visualizing I still have a hard time comprehending that
