1) I dislike polls that I can't vote in without claiming to either be autistic or NT. I really can't properly claim either.

2) Autism is not a disease. That's the wrong word. Syndrome or disorder, not disease or illness. But I'm not going to judge an article based solely on one word choice. I thought the article was interesting, despite not getting everything right.

It wouldn't say ''Asperger's is not a disease'' at the bottom of this very page for nothing.

A & B are too strong in opinion for me to choose either. I have thus have not voted in this poll.

For me both of these statements are false:
"articles such as this are an exemplary beacon of truth and knowledge..."
"shocking and damaging that they are allowed to be displayed to the public"

I think you both have a point.

I don't think autism is a disease. I believe it is more of a neurological difference that inhibits one's ability to interact with the world (to what degree this occurs depends on the severity of this neurological difference).

Autism isn't a disease, it is a condition or disorder. I always see diseases as infectious conditions such as cancer, viruses, and bacteria. A disease is also something that can spread in the body, whether it is contagious or not.
